Ryan Giggs

Giggs has already made his first steps into management by being among David Moyes' coaching staff.

The 39-year-old, who is likely to hang up his boots at the end of the season, was appointed as first-team coach alongside former teammate Phil Neville.

Giggs said after accepting the job that he would love to manage either Wales or Manchester United once he called it a day.

He said: "It’s like when you are a player starting out. You want to play for the team you supported or you’re at. I did that. You want to play for my country. I did that. And it’s similar to being a manager.

"But I’m no fool. You can’t just walk into a job because you had a career in the game. You have to be deserving of managing your country because it’s a massive honour."
