Top five: Future Premier League managers (5)

Rio Ferdinand

Rio Ferdinand - like Giggs - is one of the senior stars in the Manchester United dressing room.

Ferdinand captained United to their 2008 Champions League win and has won six Premier League titles since moving to Old Trafford.

The Manchester United defender is likely to have a range of avenues to go down when he retires, as he already owns a clothing line, produces a magazine and owns a restaurant.

However Ferdinand is likely to want to keep some kind of connection with football and coaching may be his ideal way of staying in the beautiful game judging by his tweet at the end of last season: "‏Trained with the u18's today....nice little workout! Coaching youngsters could be a bit of me, who knows!"
