Barcelona could be set to swoop for Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta, according to talkSPORT.
Spaniard Azpilicueta, who arrived at Stamford Bridge from French outfit Marseille in August 2012, enjoyed an encouraging start to life in West London but has seen his playing time dramatically decrease since the return of Jose Mourinho this summer.
The 24-year-old has featured just once so far in the Premier League during the current campaign - a brief cameo during the Blues' insipid goalless draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford in August - and reports are suggesting that La Liga champions Barcelona could be keen to return Azpilicueta to his native Spain.
The potential for such a move, though, could well depend on the future of fellow full-back Martin Montoya. The 22-year-old is believed to be considering leaving the Camp Nou, with a host of teams including Premier League duo Arsenal and Liverpool reportedly vying for his signature.
If Montoya were to seek a switch away from the Catalan giants, then Barca may well subsequently further their interest in signing Azpilicueta.
