The Gunners on a spending spree
After breaking the club transfer record to land Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid for a fee of £42.4million, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is planning to further bolster the squad in the winter transfer window.

FC Schalke 04 playmaker,Julian Draxler and Borussia Dortmund midfielder,Marco Reus are the players Wenger is eyeing to move to North London.
Draxler is one of the brightest youngsters in the footballing world today, who also admitted earlier this summer that he could leave Schalke, according to Metro. With over 100 appearances for the Gelsenkirchen outfit and also a regular in Joachim Low’s national team set-up, Draxler might be tempted to make the big money move so early in his career.
The 20-year-old will definitely develop further, having his career best season at Schalke in the 2012-13 season, scoring 13 goals and creating several chances. Arsenal, though, will have to compete with Italian giants, Juventus who are also interested in signing Draxler - a fee of around £30million might be enough to land him.
Borussia Dortmund midfielder Marco Reus is one of the dynamic attacking midfield players who has taken centre stage, especially last term, with the rise of BVB on the world stage.
Named the fourth best footballer in Europe in 2013 by Bloomberg, Reus has been instrumental in his performances for both club and country,Scoring 19 goals last term. He has continued his top form with four goals this season in just eight matches.
Reus reportedly has a buy-out clause of £34million and the German outfit might want the whole amount to be paid in order to let him leave for North London.
The fee reportedly being planned by Wenger is £64million,according to Caughtoffside.com,to land the German duo.Arsenal already have Ozil, Podolski, Mertesacker in their ranks and it won’t be difficult for either of the two Germans to settle in London if they decide to move to Arsenal which would surely make The Gunners the team to beat.
