Now to the blue half of Merseyside and the only team in the
Premier League who remain unbeaten.

The Toffees were slightly fortunate to beat West Ham on Saturday, with Romelu Lukaku making a big impact as a half-time sub and Leighton Baines scoring two smashing free kicks.

However, there is much to admire about this Everton side and with Roberto Martinez bringing a fluid passing style to Goodison Park, they could turn into the neutrals’ favourite.

Everton last won a trophy in 1995 – a Paul Rideout header seeing off Manchester united in the FA Cup – and it is about time they won another one.

Martinez picked up the FA Cup last season as Wigan upset Manchester City, and with Kevin Mirallas, Gareth Barry and Ross Barclay excelling, they will be the side a lot of teams will want to avoid.

A trip to an out of form Fulham provides a good chance of progression into the fourth round.
