Chelsea's Juan Mata omission

Football News

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho continues to overlook Spanish sensation Juan Mata, with the club's Player of the Year for the past two seasons deemed not good enough for a place on the bench.

Mourinho's argument is that Oscar is his preferred no.10, but Mata's consistent omission is as puzzling as it is plain stupid.

Don't be surprised to see the playmaker head for the Stamford Bridge exit in January, with the 25-year-old reportedly unhappy with life in west London - and who can blame him?
