Alright, so things aren't as rosy red under David Moyes as United fans had become accustomed to during the tenure of Sir Alex Ferguson.
Taking over from possibly the most well-respected football manager in the history of the game was never going to be an easy task, and it's going to take some amount of time before Moyes comes close to having the authority or influence that Fergie could command.
It's fair to assess that the opening Premier League fixtures haven't paved the way for glory for Moyes in his debut United season, but his squad are only one or two tweaks away from being able to go toe-to-toe with the very best. Since over the course of the summer United's transfer dealings were nothing short of woeful, Moyes may face a considerable task when the window opens again in January.
