Real Madrid star Gareth Bale has been passed fit to make his home debut against rivals Atletico Madrid on Saturday.
The world record £85million summer signing from Tottenham Hotspur scored on his Real Madrid debut against Villarreal and came on to star in his side's 6-1 Champions League win over Galatasaray.
Bale had been due to make his Santiago Bernabeu debut against Getafe on Sunday but missed the encounter after picking up a thigh injury in the pre-match warm-up.
However Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed Bale will be in contention to start against Atletico Madrid - who are currently two points ahead of their local rivals.
Ancelotti, speaking to AS, said on Bale's return to fitness: "Gareth Bale was fine against Villarreal and Galatasaray, he just had a small problem for Getafe, he should be ok for Atletico."
Bale could even play some part in Real Madrid's midweek encounter against La Liga strugglers Elche at the Martínez Valero on Wednesday.
