Manchester United full-back Rafael is being lined up for a 2014 bid by Corinthians, according to Brazilian newspaper Lance.
The Brazilian outfit are in need of a right-back as the man who currently fills that position for them, 34-year-old Alessandro, is retiring.
Rafael has become a mainstay in the United squad since his arriving in Manchester with his brother Fabio when the two were signed in 2008.
Corinthians reportedly see the 23-year-old right back as having the experience necessary to do well in the Brazilian league as he played there at youth level for Fluminense before his move to the Premier League.
With United having a number of young full-backs currently on the books at Old Trafford including Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Fabio and new signing Guillermo Varela, it may just be possible for the Brazilian club to make the move work.
No bid is expected to come until the end of the season at least, but with Rafael's current contract up in 2016, Moyes may have to offer him an improved contract if he wants the youngster to stay.
