Defiant Tottenham fans have snubbed the FA's demands to stop using the word Yid.

Prior to kick off in Sunday's game against Cardiff "We're Tottenham Hotspur, we'll sing what we want" resounded round the Cardiff City Stadium.

Paulinho’s late winner for Tottenham was followed by travelling Spurs fans chanting ”Yiddo! Yiddo! Yiddo!”

The FA has warned fans that they could be prosecuted if they use the terms Yiddo, Yid or Yid army.

Tottenham fans started chanting the word as a defence mechanism against other teams using the anti semitic term to offend Spurs supporters and refuse to give up using the word even though the use of the term could amount to a criminal offence.
