United fan refers to Sir Alex Ferguson in wedding toast

Many Manchester United fans were left bitterly disappointed and feeling sorry for themselves following the team's 4-1 defeat in the Manchester derby on Sunday.

One fan however took this and exacted his revenge on shocked wedding guests.

The groom starts to speak about his late father and asks guests to stand and raise a toast before uttering the name 'Sir Alex Ferguson'.

With a quivering voice the groom stated how the person he was talking about was 'a strong fella who had such an influence on me and suddenly he's no longer with with us'.

Guests at the wedding, including his new Manchester City supporting in-laws, stand to remember the great man only to find that the groom is talking about Manchester United legend Sir Alex Ferguson.

The wedding took place earlier this month however the footage was only released after Sunday's game and has become a massive hit for sports fans.
