Brazilian star Kaka is set to become Gareth Bale's new landlord, according to The Independent.
24-year-old Bale, who earned lavish praise for a series of stunning individual performances for Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur last season, became the most expensive footballer in the history of the sport during the summer after completing a world-record £85 million move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
With British players traditionally struggling to cope plying their trade in foreign climes, one recurring piece of advice Bale has received from fellow professionals after completing his 'dream' switch to La Liga is to ensure that he settles quickly off the pitch.
The Welshman appears to have heeded that advice, with reports suggesting he is set to rent the mansion belonging to World Cup winner Kaka for the foreseeable future.
31-year-old Kaka, who has endured a difficult three-year stint with Real since joining from AC Milan in June 2009, moved back to the Serie A giants during the summer.
The Independent claim that the large property is worth approximately £6.5 million and will cost Bale £10,000 per month to rent. In addition to securing such a desirable property, the former Southampton star will also be moving closer to his teammates with the likes of Iker Casillas, Karim Benzema and a certain Cristiano Ronaldo set to become neighbours.
Real, who are now under the management of popular Italian Carlo Ancelotti following the departure of Jose Mourinho following a disappointing climax to the 2012/13 campaign, are currently third in La Liga after amassing 13 points from their opening five games.
Los Blancos will be looking to keep the pressure up on fierce rivals and league leaders Barcelona this evening as they travel to face Elche.
