Manchester City summer signing Stevan Jovetic says he is 'settled' at Eastlands now after having to overcome injuries at the start of the season.
The £22 million summer signing from Serie A side Fiorentina has been unable to feature in the Premier League so far due to his injury problems.
But the 23-year-old striker made his long awaited debut in the 5-0 Capital One cup win over Wigan on Tuesday - scoring twice in the process - and now says he is ready to get his City career going.
He told the Manchester Evening News: "It was difficult for me because I was the last to come here and I was injured, so when they played the first games I was doing preparation.
"Now I am much better and I hope that by playing more I will show much more.
"I feel settled here now. I was accepted from my first day, especially by Matija Nastasic, Aleks Kolarov and Edin Dzeko, but also by the rest of the squad."
Jovetic put his name of the map at Partizan Belgrade before signing for Fiorentina in 2008 for an £8 million fee.
40 goals in 130 appearances for the Italian side caught the eye of City boss Manuel Pellegrini who decided to bring the Montenegro international to the Etihad in July.
The striker hopes to continue to where he left off when his side make to trip to Aston Villa in the league at the weekend.
He added: "I hope we are going to continue in this way. We demonstrated we can change players and win.
"There were so many new players, but the whole squad played very well.
"Now we must forget this game as we have a very important game on Saturday at Aston Villa.
"I hope we can win that one, because the last two away games in the league have ended as a defeat and a draw."
City will go into this game off the back of their 4-1 derby day demolition of city rivals Manchester United at the Etihad last Sunday.
