Dennis Taylor - 1985

Going into the World Snooker Championship final at the Crucible in 1985, world number one Steve Davis was the strong favourite against Northern Irishman Dennis Taylor.

It all looked to be going with script when Davis stormed into an 8-0 lead. However, Taylor refused to give up and somehow fought back and levelled at 17-17 forcing a deciding final frame.

The 68-minute frame went down to a deciding black and Taylor took the win in the most dramatic fashion to complete one of the great comebacks.
