Mesut Ozil has admitted he is surprised at how good Arsenal have been since he joined the north London club on deadline day in a deal worth a reported £42.5 million.
The German international made the move from Real Madrid just before the summer transfer window slammed shut, and has been in impressive form ever since.
He played a key part in all of Arsenal's three goals in their win against Stoke on Sunday, and already has four assists to his name in two Premier League games.
Taking part in a Q and A on Arsenal's official Twitter feed, Ozil said he had been pleasantly surprised with what he has seen at the Emirates Stadium so far when asked to pick out one player who had impressed him.
"I don't just want to say one player," he said. "I am surprised by the technical quality of the whole team."
The former Real Madrid playmaker did however go on to pick out two players who he believes are destined for big things in the future - Serge Gnabry and Thomas Eisfeld.
"They [Eisfeld and Gnabry] are very talented," he revealed. They have to develop further, but they are on the right track."
