Why Hernandez is United's best forward (1)

Published 2 Comments

Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez is often overlooked when it comes to landing a starting role, mainly due to both Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney being undroppable when on form.

The Mexican international is often limited to games in the Capital One Cup, the FA Cup and in the Champions League group stages - when United have either already qualified for the last 16 stage or are playing against one of the smaller European sides.

However statistics from last season - reported by the Daily Mail - show that Hernandez had a better goals-to-game ratio and shooting conversion/accuracy rate than Van Persie, Rooney and Danny Welbeck.
