Last Premeir League XI: Lloris,Walker, Vertonghen, Naughton, Dawson, Paulinho, Townsend, Dembele, Sigurdsson, Eriksen, Soldado
Second string XI: Friedel, Chiriches, Kaboul, Fryers, Rose, Lennon, Holtby, Sandro, Capoue, Kane, Defoe
Andre Villas-Boas signed seven players in the summer, meaning Spurs' second string XI is stronger than ever.
The north London outfit arguably have the best second string goalkeeper in the Premier League in veteran Brad Friedel and a defence of Chiriches, Kaboul, Fryers and Rose may be slightly inexperienced but certainly holds great potential.
Aaron Lennon does make the second XI as he may struggle to win his place back in Spurs' side with the recent impact of Townsend and the signing of Erik Lamela.
And with Holtby Sandro and Capoue also in the midfield, this second string would certainly be able to compete against Premier League first-team sides.
In attack, Spurs have a youngster with an extremely bright future in Harry Kane and they have England international Jermain Defoe, who certainly knows where the goal is. Emmanuel Adebayor doesn't even make the second string as Villas-Boas he seemingly had enough of the hit and miss strikers.
Erik Lamela left out as will soon be a regular starter.
