Top five: Premier League second string XIs (5)

Published 5 Comments

2. Manchester City

Last Premier League XI: Hart, Kompany, Zabaleta, Kolarov, Nastasic, Nasri, Navas, Fernandinho, Toure, Negredo, Aguero

Second string XI: Pantilimon, Richards, Lescott, Demichelis, Clichy Milner, Rodwell, Lopes, Garcia, Dzeko, Jovetic

Manchester City certainly come close to making the second XI top spot place. With a front-line of Eden Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic, the Citizens would score a hatful of goals.

Additionally, English midfielders James Milner and Jack Rodwell certainly know their way around the Premier League.

They would also have a very strong back four. England international's Micah Richards and Joleon Lescott are safe bets and Demichelis and Clichy could walk into most Premier League sides.

David Silva has been left out as would usually be a regular starter.
