Michael Dawson v Samuel Eto'o

Football News

A number of eyebrows were raised when veteran Cameroonian Eto'o joined Chelsea from troubled Russian outfit Anzhi Makhachkala prior to the close of the transfer window.

Although the 32-year-old has a wealth of experience at the very highest level after previous stints with Inter Milan and Barcelona, questions could be asked about his appetite for the game following his two years in Russia.

Although it's still early in his Blues career, Eto'o has yet to display any real quality in his handful of appearances thus far. He will have to be at his best if he is to get the better of Spurs' defence on Saturday.

Dawson looked as if he was set to leave White Hart Lane in January, but he resolved to fight for his place under Villas-Boas and has been a pillar of strength so far this season.
