Liverpool produce customised FIFA 14 video

Thousands of committed and arguably barmy football addicts braved the increasingly chilly conditions last night to ensure that they were able to secure their copy of immensely popular video game FIFA 14 just minutes after it officially hit the shelves.

With 33 fully-licensed leagues and more than a whopping 16,000 players, the game has become an annual write of passage for football enthusiasts across the globe and arguably now dwarfs its chief rival - Pro Evolution Soccer.

In celebration of the game's keenly-anticipated release, prestigious Premier League outfit Liverpool have released a video showing impressive in-game footage of a number of their stars in action.

The video features an inspirational quote from iconic manager Bill Shankly as rivals Everton and Liverpool pass under the world-famous 'This is Anfield' sign and goes on to feature a stunning volleyed goal from Luis Suarez and a goal-saving tackle from legendary captain Steven Gerrard as well as a spectacular finish from Daniel Sturridge, coupled with his traditionally funky dance celebration.

Thanks to Liverpool FC and 101 Great Goals for posting the footage.
