Manchester United have struggled to begin their title defence campaign under new boss David Moyes - who was handpicked by former United manager and legend, Sir Alex Ferguson.
Many can claim United have had a tough start, playing Chelsea, Liverpool and city rivals Manchester City in their five games of the season. David Moyes failed to claim victories against all three clubs and dramatically lost to Steve Clarke's West Brom on Saturday afternoon, in a 2-1 defeat at Old Trafford.
United's only victories coming against Swansea who they comfortably passed in a 4-1 away victory on the opening day of the season, along with Crystal Palace in a 2-0 victory.
Moyes' other victories of the current season come from United's 4-2 victory over Bayer Leverkusen in their first Champions League group stage match and more recently their 1-0 victory over bitter rivals Liverpool in the League Cup.
Also Moyes picked up the Community Shield from last year's FA Cup winners Wigan - who controversially relegated to the Championship last season - where they claimed a 2-0 victory at Wembley Park.
The Red Devils also witnessed an unsuccessful transfer window during the same, there only signing being the deadline day deal to sign Everton and Belgian international midfielder Marouane Fellaini.
Moyes has had a patchy start to the season which has undoubtedly being a rocky road for the Scotsman. Moyes could prove to be surplus to United's requirement, but many could suggest that the new boss needs more time to prove his worth at the 20-time Premier League winners.
