After the end of first set of games in Gameweek six, fans were left shocked after Saturday's matches.

Both the clubs from Manchester suffered shock defeats. Manchester United lost 1-2 to West Brom after a spirited display from the Baggies who were ousted from the Capital One cup mid-week by Arsenal.

Elsewhere, Manchester City lost 2-3 to Aston Villa as they failed stop the fightback from Villa as they came back from a goal down to clinch victory.

Tottenham failed to break 10-man Chelsea after an early Sigurdsson strike gave them the lead. John Terry pulled one back after the half-time. As Chelsea seemed to have found their way back into the match, Torres was sent off after a second yellow card. After that Chelsea were forced to sit back and defend against a vibrant Spurs attack.The score ended 1-1.

Arsenal saw-off a late Swansea charge after they went two goals ahead, but held on to the lead after Swansea scored in the 82nd minute.The game finished 2-1 in favour of Arsenal.

In other matches, Hull City defeated West Ham 1-0, and Fulham lost 1-2 to Cardiff City to bring match-day to an end.
