Arsene Wenger says Arsenal youngster Serge Gnabry has the personality and the ability to become a major force for Arsenal.
The 18-year-old bagged his first goal for the Gunners in their 2-1 win over Swansea on Saturday, and Wenger believes he has the whole package.
He is surprising," he said. "He has the talent, but he has the personality on the pitch as well.
"He doesn't look timid, he looks to play with belief and, of course, talent. Unfortunately he is another player for Germany, he's not English.
Today marks the 17th anniversary of Wenger's appointment as Arsenal boss and he currently has more than one reason to celebrate with his side top of the pile in the Premier League after their win at the Liberty Stadium.
Wenger's men are two points clear of both Liverpool and rivals Tottenham after six games, and the Frenchman was in a reflective mood ahead of the Champions League clash against Napoli tomorrow at the Emirates Stadium.
"He [Gnabry] was one years old when I came to Arsenal, I can't believe it," he said. Now I have some players in my squad who were not born when I arrived at Arsenal.
"The two players who scored [Gnabry and Aaron Ramsey] have a combined age of 40."
