According to reports, Barcelona are reportedly lining up a double raid on Chelsea for Spaniard duo, Juan Mata and Fernando Torres.

Both players have struggled to break into Jose Mourinho's starting team on a regular basis due to the abundance of attackers in the squad.

Sport suggest that Spanish giants Barcelona are monitoring the situation of the pair, and may make an official bid in the next transfer window.

Numerous reports have claimed that Torres and Mata are unhappy with life at Stamford Bridge, and are looking for an escape route back to their native country.

Mata would add another bit of creativity to the Barcelona side as well as Fernando Torres who would offer another dimension up front, should the pair join the Spanish giants.

With the 2014 World Cup looming large, perhaps a move away from Stamford Bridge would benefit the pair in their hopes of getting into the Spain squad, but are Barcelona the right club to aid the pair into playing in the World Cup?
