Kevin de Bruyne is unhappy with Jose Mourinho and will likely go on loan in January after being dropped from Chelsea's Champions League squad to face Steaua Bucharest and being made to train with the U21's, according to the Daily Mail.
The young Belgian was expected to be more involved in the Chelsea first team this season after Jose Mourinho reportedly refused to let him leave the club in the summer, with Borussia Dortmund believed to have been keen on securing his services.
De Bruyne, who spent last season on loan with Werder Bremen, started Chelsea's opening game of the season against Hull but has since made just one more Premier League start.
Mourinho was unhappy with the 22-year-old's performance in Chelsea's League Cup win over Swindon in mid-week, and now according to the Daily Mail the Special One has acted decisively by axing him from his squad to face Steaua Bucharest in Romania.
The paper adds that De Bruyne is upset having been told he must train with the U21's for the next three days, and also claim it is likely that the former Genk star will leave Chelsea on loan during the winter window in order to ensure his World Cup place next summer.
