Miami Heat star LeBron James has fired out a warning to the rest of the NBA ahead of the start of the new season.
The 28-year-old, widely regarded as one of the best basketball players of all time, believes he has improved since the end of the 2012/13 campaign.
"I got better," James told reporters when asked about his preparation this summer. "I'm a better basketball player than I was last year, in every aspect."
James was last seen in action back in June, when he inspired the Heat to victory over San Antonio Spurs in Game 7 of the 2013 NBA Finals.
That win sealed back-to-back NBA championships for the Heat, who were founded back in 1988.
Miami Heat will be gunning for a third consecutive championship when the 2013/14 campaign gets underway on October 29.
The regular season will reach its conclusion on April 16.
