Michael Jordan claims he could beat LeBron James in a one-on-one if he were to play the Miami Heat forward during his prime.
The Chicago Bulls legend was speaking at the release on the new game NBA 2K14 and revealed a list of players from past and present who could or could not beat him.
On that list was the NBA All-Star James and Jordan stated his confidence that he would beat James in a one-on-one if he had played during Jordan's era.
Asked who would win between the pair he told reporters: "I don't think I would lose."
Jordan did however, say that Kobe Bryant would beat him in a one-on-one but only because the LA Lakers player copies him.
He said: " [I wouldn't lose] other than to Kobe Bryant because he steals all of my moves."
This is the second time Jordan has been outspoken about LeBron James' ability after claiming earlier this year that James would not have succeeded to the same extent if playing in his era.
He said to reporters in February: "The point is, no one is critiquing the personnel that he's playing against. Their knowledge of how to play the game … that's not a fair comparison.
"That's not right … Could LeBron be successful in our era? Yes. Would he be as successful? No."
