The Premier League is blessed with an array of amazing creative midfielders but who is the best?
5. Philippe Coutinho
Liverpool's Brazilian midfielder has impressed since joining in January 2013 and has already established himself as one of the best Premier League playmakers.
Since his injury against Swansea, Liverpool have looked a different team, losing against Southampton and drawing against Swansea.
4. David Silva
Manchester City have looked far more dangerous with this player than without, the Spaniard was in great form during Manchester City's Premier League title victory but only showed shadows of his class last season, after returning from an injury.
Despite this, I am convinced he is still one of the Premier League's best.
3. Santi Cazorla
Cazorla was Arsenal's best player last season and he was high up in the Premier League assists table with 12 assists and was vital to Arsenal's Champions League qualification.
He impressed since day one and is easily recognisable as a key member of the Gunners' squad.
2. Juan Mata
The Spaniard has become synonymous with the Chelsea team since joining from Valencia and was the joint top assist maker in the Premier League last season with 13 assists.
Silva has been voted Chelsea player of the season for the past two seasons and his inspiring performances have left fans questioning Jose Mourinho's decision to leave him on the bench for so much of the current season.
1. Mesut Ozil
The 'king of the assist' has already shown what he is capable of and he leads the Premier League assist table despite only playing in three Premier League games for the Gunners due to his deadline day arrival.
He looks like he has been playing for Arsenal all his life and has fitted in superbly, truly the best number 10 in the Premier League.
