Premier League rejects XI (6)

Central-midfielder: Juan Sebastian Veron

You will often find Juan Sebastian Veron at the top of polls to determine the Premier League's biggest flop - which may be a little unfair on this outrageously talented Argentinian.

His £28.1m move to Manchester United didn't work out as planned, while Chelsea also failed to get the best out of him after paying £15m, but after a spell at Inter Milan he returned to the club of his heart: Estudiantes.

He not only helped the team win back-to-back league titles, but he also inspired them to Copa Libertadores glory and was subsequently named South American Football of the Year in 2008 and 2009 - when he was in his mid-thirties.

A class act.
