The agent of Chelsea starlet Wallace has played down comments from his client surrounding a ‘dream’ move to Real Madrid.

Portuguese newspaper Globo Esporte quoted the player as saying that he wanted to play with Cristiano Ronaldo, and that he’s been thinking about Los Blancos since he was a kid.

"I want to play for Real Madrid in the future. They are the team of my dreams since I was little and I would like to play with Cristiano Ronaldo," he told Globo Esporte at the weekend.

"But I don't intend to go to Real Madrid now. I am still very young and I'll stay in Europe for a long time. I am playing for a big club. I want to stay here or return to Chelsea as I liked them a lot."

His agent, Frederico Moraes, has since jumped to the defence of the 19-year-old, suggesting that the remarks were ‘not interpreted at best’, and that his client is thinking about his current form with Inter Milan.

"Statements are not interpreted at best. He now plans to do his best for Inter - it is useless to think about the rest," Moraes told TMW.

The young full-back is on loan at the Serie ‘A’ club from Stamford Bridge, but has only featured on a couple of occasions so far this term.

"At the moment it is a discourse premature to deal with. The guy thinks only Inter, want to play well with the Nerazzurri without thinking about the next season,” he added.

"The boy is working very hard in training to be ready when it is called into question. Additionally there that Jonathan has done very well so far, but Wallace will give 100% for when the Nerazzurri take the field."

Chelsea agreed a deal for Wallace back in December 2012, although he remained with Fluminese for the rest of the season before moving to the Premier League club in the summer.

He appeared in a couple of pre-season games for the Blues under new manager Jose Mourinho, but was sent out on loan to Inter in August in an effort to gain experience away from west London.
