Tottenham Hotspur are growing increasingly assured that they will be able to capture Blackpool's highly-rated youngster Tom Ince in January for £4million, according to the Express.

The 21-year-old has captured the attention of a number of Premier League clubs with his stellar performances in the Championship, and Andre Villas-Boas is thought to want to bring him to White Hart Lane at the next available opportunity.

Spurs had made a bid in the summer for the youngster, but were flatly denied by his current club. Cardiff City were also thought to have made an official bid for him, but Ince eventually decided to stay at Blackpool.

It is speculated that Tottenham are keen to complete a deal between £4million and £5million in January, before loaning him back to his current club for the rest of the season.

They may face stiff competition for his signature however as Italian giants Inter Milan, Juventus and Napoli are all thought to be keeping an eye on his development.

Ince's current contract with Blackpool expires at the end of this campaign, meaning he will be able to leave for virtually nothing if no January sale is agreed.
