Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has challenged his teammates to take the next step forward as the Gunners continue to progress this season.

Ozil, who signed for the Gunners for £42.4 million from Real Madrid on transfer deadline day, scored his first goal for the north London outfit in a convincing 2-0 win over Italian giants Napoli in the Champions League on Tuesday.

And, with Arsenal sitting top of their Champions League group and top of the Premier League, things are currently looking very positive for the north London outfit.

However, German international, Ozil, believes Arsene Wenger's side must continue to seek improvement and continue to prove their credentials.

Speaking to the London Evening Standard, Ozil said: “What’s important is that we take the next step forward as a team. We want to keep developing.

"We did that against Napoli and won the game 2-0. We’ve got some great players in. We showed against Napoli how good we are on the ball.”

Arsenal will be hoping to continue their run of good form as they travel to the Hawthorns to take on a West Brom, who beat Premier League champions Manchester United in their last outing.
