Arsenal, Chelsea & Manchester City were unable to secure the signing of PSV starlet Zakaria Bakkali this summer, but all three clubs are expected to return for the 17-year-old next year.
Tuttomercato report that the Premier League trio will make competing offers for the Belgian winger, who has been making waves in the Eredivisie, potentially as early as January.
However, as Bakkali's contract does not expire until 2015, the ball is very much in PSV's court for the time being.
The Daily Star report that Arsenal have sent experienced scout Peter Clarke to monitor the youngster's progress and also the development of Bakkali's teammate Georginio Wijnaldum.
Bakkali burst onto the scene at the Philips Stadion at the start of this season, scoring a hat-trick in his second ever Eredivisie appearance against NEC Nijmegen.
His impressive performances led to a call-up to the Belgium national team for the recent friendly against France, but he was forced to pull out of the squad after sustaining an injury in training.
