Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has admitted that his side cannot win consecutively and believes the title race is wide open.

The Blues have had a mixed start to the Premier League campaign and currently sit in fifth place after three wins from their opening six fixtures.

Mourinho has also insisted that title rivals Manchester United have had the hardest start to the season and expects the race to go down to the wire.

Speaking to reporters, Mourinho said: "I think the league will be open until the end.

"At this moment some teams are being helped by the fixtures, some are more difficult than others. Manchester United have the most difficult one, immediately followed by us.

"I think by the end of November, that is the moment we will find out somebody is in a little bit better situation than others. I think this season can go all the way, and I think that is good."

The Blues boss believes points can be dropped anywhere and doesn't believe his team are currently strong enough.

He continued by saying: "Every weekend someone can lose points.

"In relation to my team at this moment we are not strong enough to be dominant in every match and win consecutively. That is my point of view."

Chelsea's next match is a trip to Carrow Road to take on Norwich City and Mourinho will be hoping his side can come away with all three points.

The Blues beat the Canaries 1-0 away from home last season thanks to a goal from Juan Mata. And, the Spaniard will be hoping to make it into the starting XI on this occasion.
