Top Five: Legends who should make coaching returns (1)

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers made a shrewd move earlier in the week, drafting in Robbie Fowler, Steve McManaman and Rob Jones to help coach the youth teams at Anfield.

The trio are set to assist with the Reds’ U21 and U18 squads at the Kirkby Academy in Melwood, and it will be interesting to see how the youngsters develop in the coming years.

Merseyside isn’t the only place where ex-professionals can be seen working their magic, with Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt doing their thing for Manchester United.

With all this in mind, GiveMeSport decided to look at some of the Premier League’s top teams, and pick a few players who might be able to help develop the top young talent at the club.
