It still hasn’t sunk in that I could be playing a Premier League game, but once I see the stadium and all the fans I think it will start to become real.

I have come a long way to get here from non-league football. But it shows what hard work can do if you are determined. Coming from non-league it is hard because everyone has different journeys, for me though I was always a fighter and never gave up, to keep going and going to eventually get what I want and if not to keep carrying on doing the things till I do get what I want.

My advice to anyone wanting to do the same is to work hard and show your determination but also just be yourself.

Last week in training I was working with Scott Guyett, our fitness coach at Crystal Palace. He watched a lot of games I played last season so I have been training on things I do in a match situation so working on the runs I do in games so when it comes to matches it feels normal.

I managed to get some game time in the 2-1 win against Leyton Orient in the Under 21 match in the week. I got what I needed out of it as I could get in contention to play against Liverpool for today’s game. I played with other first team players Cameron Jerome & Jose Campana that also needed a run out.

It feels good to be back in the squad and I've been talking to the boys and have got some advice from the captain just telling me before I started training to just be myself and come in with a lot of enthusiasm as I normally do.

I spoke to Damien Delaney, who gave me tips throughout my injury, and have also been talking to Jason Puncheon and Jerome Thomas to get some advice as they have played in the Premier League.

I’m looking forward to the game as I have never been to Anfield before and want to see what the atmosphere is like, but I think the Palace fans will be loud in there as we always have good support.

And I have a few special fans coming to the game as my boy Kaidy and the Mrs have made the trip to watch the game as well.

I’m just buzzing to get out there and show what I can do.
