Top five: Reasons Arsenal can win Premier League

Published 3 Comments

Arsenal have had a great start to the season, but one question on everyone's minds is can they hold on to it?

Here are five reasons why I think they can.

5. Arsenal's players are in great form

Aaron Ramsey can't stop scoring, Mesut Ozil scored against Napoli, and the rest of the team have been given it their all this season. Every win boosts confidence a little bit more.

4. Ozil has given the team a boost

Since Ozil joined the club, the whole team seems to have improved. The Germany international can pass almost anywhere and create great goalscoring opportunities.

He could become one of Arsenal's best ever buys.

3. Money to strengthen squad in January

In the January transfer season they could buy more players to boost the squad. Even after spending £42m on Ozil, they still have a little more to buy a good player, meaning they could be even stronger than they are now.

2. Manchester United are having a poor season

Arsenal's main competitors Manchester United are having a poor season. Manchester City may give them trouble in the future but it doesn't seem as if United can even make the top four let alone be able to overtake Tottenham, City, Liverpool or Arsenal.

1. Arsenal can beat the league's big boys

Arsenal have proved in the past they are able to take on big teams and win on poor form. What if they were to play them in amazing form? The Gunners have already won the north London derby against Tottenham this season - and it looks as if they will continue to give all teams trouble in the near future.
