Brendan Rodgers described the understanding between Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge as 'telepathic' as both scored again for Liverpool on Saturday, with the pair reinforcing their claim for the accolade of the best forward partnership in the Premier League.

The pair have scored five goals between them in the two goals since Suarez's return from suspension, while Sturridge's tally for Liverpool this season now stands at eight goals in nine appearances.
