It has been a very annoying summer for United fans since Sir Alex Ferguson moved upstairs to the directors. Marouane Fellaini was the only major arrival at the club and United have not kept up with their rivals at all well.
The club have been struggling, and this has been backed up in the league, with United losing to many times already this season. With Robin Van Persie not firing on all cylinders and United's wingers all off form, who they have to turn to?
Well luckily for them they have an answer, Adnan Januzaj. But who is he I hear you ask?
The 18-year-old came onto the scene from Belgian side Anderlecht in 2011, brought in by Sir Alex Ferguson when he was just 16.
He was given his squad number by Ferguson, although never played under the great Scot. The best he could do was to be an unused substitute in Fergie's last game in charge against West Brom.
But he has taken the league by storm under David Moyes, and it all started on their tour when fans soon started hearing about United's next star.
Januzaj made his debut in United's Community Shield win over Wigan, coming on as a substitute on 68 minutes.
His Premier League debut came soon after, in United's 2-0 win over Crystal Palace in September.
His first start came just yesterday, and he was the indefinite star of United's show. The Belgian winger scored two goals as United spared further embarrassment.
Enough of his history, lets move on to his future. I thoroughly believe that Januzaj could be the person to save United's season, with Moyes needing someone to relieve the pressure on the misfiring team.
The winger proved his talents in lasts night victory over Sunderland. His trickery and pace compared him with the young Cristiano Ronaldo when he was of that age.
Although he does not have a lot of strength yet, that will come in the near future and his balance counteracts that anyway.
Reports suggest that the Belgian star is close to agreeing a new deal with the club, so for United fans it is time to sit back and watch his talents.
Who needs Ronaldo when you have Januzaj?
