Three young attacking players who could take the world stage by storm based on current form:
3. Isco – Real Madrid – Spain
Fast, a wonderful pass picker and a tricky dribbler, Isco moved to Real Madrid this summer for £23 million, and what a signing that was.
Not yet in the Spanish squad, it won’t be long before Isco is challenging players like David Silva and Santi Cazorla for the attacking midfield role, maybe even by next year’s world cup.
2. Mario Gotze – Bayern Munich – Germany
One of the most promising young players in the world, Mario Gotze made the move to Bayern Munich from rivals Borussia Dortmund in 2013, for over £30 million.
The 21-year-old made his debut in the 2009/10, coming on in the 88th minute for Jakub Błaszczykowski. He made five appearances in that season, but still lacked a goal. In the following season he got 33 games, grabbing six goals.
In the two seasons that came after that, he became a regular at Dortmund. After a fantastic season in 2012/13 he earned himself a move to giants Bayern Munich, an important season lies ahead for Gotze
1. Paul Pogba – Juventus – France
Strong, delicate on the ball and a rip roaring shot, Paul Pogba is the complete holding midfielder.
Despite being only 20 years old, Pogba is already a key component in the Juventus team that has one the last three Serie A titles. Not as glamorous as the aforementioned Isco and Gotze, Pogba has improved dramatically over the last two years, and is sure to go right to the top of football.
