Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal were all set on red alert about Karim Benzema's potential availability, according to the Sunday People.
The paper reports that Real Madrid have told the Frenchman's representatives to find him another club when the transfer window re-opens in January.
There will certainly not be a lack of suitors for Benzema due to his impressive form since the beginning of the season.
Benzema has scored four and provided three assists in his 10 games for Real so far this term and it is strange to see why the Spanish giants want to sell him.
Yet this is great news for the Premier League's elite clubs, who will presumably be looking to improve their attacking options in January.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United will reportedly battle for Benzema, but the report says they will have to pay around £17m for the services of the prolific striker.
United and Arsenal have previously been linked with Benzema, but it is Chelsea who desperately need to improve in attack after the goal drought of their main strikers.
The aforementioned £17m surely would nit be a problem for Roman Abramovich and after three months we could see Benzema scoring at Stamford Bridge for Chelsea.
It is quite clear that Benzema will leave Real and all of these top-flight three clubs are possible destinations for the big Frenchman.
