Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson insists that Suarez and Sturridge have even more to offer after their barnstorming display against Premier League strugglers Crystal Palace.
With both Suarez and Sturridge scoring against Palace, Henderson - speaking on Sky Sports - said: "They are fantastic. Their link-up play and one-twos was brilliant and they do that all the time in training."
Alan Shearer, speaking on BBC Match of the Day, said that his partnership with Chris Sutton was something that had to be worked on. By contrast, his partnership with Teddy Sheringham in the England team was something that came instantly, without having to 'learn' each other's game.
Certainly, the pair seem to have immediately understood each other's game.
"Hopefully they can keep working on that," continued Henderson, "keep improving and keep getting the goals. If that's the case and they haven't played that much then they can get even better.
"They know where each other's going to be and they've been outstanding."
If the relationship between Sturridge and Suarez continues, the two will most likely have a phenomenal goal return at the end of the season.
Henderson himself has been impressive this season, having started all seven of Liverpool's Premier League games so far. He must be feeling that a fresh start is beckoning at Anfield after making only 16 league starts last season.
