Manchester United teenager Adnan Januzaj has earned the praise of teammate Wayne Rooney following his stunning full debut for the Premier League champions on Saturday.
Januzaj scored both goals as Manchester United recorded a 2-1 victory against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light, with the 18-year-old's winning strike one of real beauty.
The youngster now looks set to be awarded an extended run in David Moyes' first-team, and Rooney is excited about what the future holds for Januzaj.
Rooney posted on his official Facebook page: "Full credit to Adnan Januzaj on his full debut, two superbly taken goals. The lad has a bright future ahead of him!"
Following his match-winning performance against Sunderland, Januzaj is not set to be offered a lucrative new contract in order to persuade him to commit his future to Manchester United.
The player is reported to be a target for a number of Europe's most prominent clubs, and Manchester United are now desperate to avoid a repeat of the episode that saw talented youngster Paul Pogba leave for Juventus.
According to The Mirror, Manchester United are willing to pay Januzaj £50,000-per-week.
