Currently flying high in the Serie A, Pogba’s career has taken off since he left Manchester United, and now he has revealed why he decided against staying in Manchester.

"I said to Ferguson: 'Play me, and I will show you if I'm ready or not',"  Pogba said he told Ferguson but the United boss decided against it.

“I was on the bench," continued Pogba. "Ferguson puts Rafael in midfield with Ji Sung Park. Then I gave up. I was really bummed." And that looks to have come back to bite United.

Now he is possibly the most promising young player in the world, and many top clubs are interested in taking him back.

So why did Ferguson let Pogba go without a fight? The French holding midfielder simply wasn’t as good as he used to be, he didn’t have the technical ability that he does now.

So can you blame Ferguson for not noticing the potential, yes, that’s a huge part of his job, and he has done it time and time again.

Strong, delicate on the ball and possessing a rip roaring shot, Paul Pogba is the complete holding midfielder.

Despite being only 20-years-old, Pogba is already a key component in the Juventus team that has won the last two Serie A titles. Not as glamorous as players like Neymar, Isco and Gotze, Pogba has improved dramatically over the last two years, and is sure to go right to the top of football.

It looks like Ferguson should have kept a hold of Pogba for a longer spell of time, and should have treated him better.
