Branislav Ivanovic has said he believes Chelsea have a substitutes' bench capable of bringing home the Premier League title this season.
His comments come after Jose Mourinho defended his risky tactics deployed during Sunday's 3-1 win over Norwich City at Carrow Road.
The self-confessed 'Special One' brought on Eden Hazard, Willian and Samuel Eto'o in the last 17 minutes at a score of 1-1, to push the Blues in to defeating the Canaries with a final score of 3-1 with goals from Hazard and Willian - their first in the Chelsea campaign.
The Blues have moved from fifth in the Premier League table to third following the victory, and Ivanovic feels it proved the team are capable of bringing home the trophy this season.
As quoted on the London Evening Standard's website, Ivanovic said on the quality of Chelsea's substitutes: "Yes, we always have that on the bench.
"However you choose the 11 that start the game, you always have on the bench a couple of guys who can change the game.
"This is one of the qualities of our game and team. I think we have a good enough squad [to win the League]."
After Willian's stunning first goal for the Blue's, Ivanovic has praised his £32million signing saying:
"Willian showed he can improve and we expect a lot from him. His goal is very important for him."
The Brazil international has only started two matches since moving to Stamford Bridge, and has made little impact up until now.
Chelsea are set to stay at home for their next Premier League fixture, which will see Cardiff City battle it out on Saturday 19th October.
