Arsenal's number one Wojciech Szczesny has expressed his disappointment with his side's draw against West Brom, and has called on his team-mates to rebuild their momentum.
Szczesny, who made a number of good stops against West Brom - most noticeably adjusting well to produce a fine save following a deflection - feels the game was winnable with the Gunners having entered the fixture on the back of a string of impressive wins.
"I was disappointed after the game because we felt confident, we had the momentum", Szczesny told Arsenal.com.
"It was a tough game so we'll probably take it. But I'm still disappointed."
The draw ended a 10-game winning streak, and the Poland international is keen for his team to begin a new run of victories after the international break.
"It's time for us to start a new run," he said.
"Hopefully we can win the next game and the few more after that to create the momentum again."
The 'keeper revealed that the squad had talked about maintaining their top-spot going in to the international break, something Wilshere's 63rd minute equaliser at The Hawthorns ensured.
"We said to ourselves before the game that we want to go into the break top of the league. Obviously we would have preferred to do it with a win but we got a point which was enough to keep us on top.
"We're still top of the league so the momentum is still with us. We wont lose our confidence."
Szczesny will now be looking to damage England's chances of qualifying for the 2014 World Cup as he joins up with the Polish squad for trips to the Ukraine and England.
