Camilo Sanvezzo rescued a point for the Vancouver Whitecaps with a simply stunning overhead-kick against the Portland Timbers.

The Brazilian forward scored twice for his side, and pulled his side level on both occasions after goals from Darlington Nagbe and Will Johnson.

After a slow start to this MLS clash, it came to life when Nagbe fired home a 25-yard rocket on 41 minutes.

Sanvezzo grabbed his 17th goal of the season to equalise, finding the bottom corner with a long-range free-kick on 75 minutes to equalise.

But, just a minute later, Johnson fired in from distance to put the visitors back in front.

They say you’re never more vulnerable than just after you’ve scored, and that proved to be the case twice, because Sanvezzo went up the other end and produced his moment of magic just 60 seconds later.

It ended 2-2, with honours even after a pulsating clash in Canada.

And, the highlight of the match belonged to the brilliant Brazilian. Check out Sanvezzo’s stunning strike at the top of this story…
