Manchester United have gained a reputation as one of the best places for young footballers to ply their trade.

It's a tradition that stems back to the ‘Golden Generation’ under Sir Alex Ferguson, when the likes of David Beckham, Gary Neville, Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes all graduated to the Red Devils first team.

But, over the years, the current Premier League champions have let their fair share of top talent leave the club as well.

Ravel Morrison appears to be the latest starlet who might just have left the Old Trafford nest a little early, with most recent performance for West Ham earning rave reviews.

And, following his display at White Hart Lane, we’ve decided to pick five players who could be considered transfer mistakes.
