Manchester United manager David Moyes has likened Old Trafford starlet Adnan Januzaj to current star Wayne Rooney.

Moyes said the same for Everton youngster Ross Barkley, who has been linked with a £20million move to the Premier League champions.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho insists he doesn’t get nervous on the sidelines during matches because he can “smell” when the goals are about to go in.

Norwich City drew level with the Blues on Sunday and pushed for a winner, but Mourinho says he knew his team would eventually prevail.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says he does not know if his side will be among the contenders for the Premier League title near the end of the season.

Arsenal currently lead the table over Liverpool on goals scored but the Frenchman warned about becoming overly optimistic, as there was still a long way to go this season.

Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta says goalkeeper Joe Hart is angry with himself for the goal he conceded in the win over Everton on Saturday.

Hart has been struggling with form recently and the Argentina international said he was looking “a bit down” during the week leading up to the match at Etihad Stadium.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Mousa Dembele has criticised the team for failing to motivate themselves sufficiently ahead of the surprise 3-0 loss to West Ham at White Hart Lane on Sunday evening.

The Belgian said Spurs have to take maximum points when playing against “small” teams if they are to be genuine title contenders.

And finally, Barcelona starlet Gerard Deulofeu has insisted the Catalan club have more than enough players to dazzle crowds when Lionel Messi is absent.

Deuolfeu, currently on loan at Everton, admitted Messi was missed when injured because he is the world's best, but felt the Spanish champions can cope without him.
