Manchester United starlet Adnan Januzaj has dealt a blow to any clubs looking to lure him away from Old Trafford, by insisting he is happy at the club, according to the Metro.
The 18-year-old has burst onto the scene this year and turned in a match-winning performance against Sunderland at the weekend, scoring two goals to secure his side victory.
However his current contract is set to end when this season finishes, and he has attracted interest from the likes of Barcelona, Manchester City and Juventus.
Reports have already surfaced speculating that United are prepared to offer the youngster up to £60,000 a week to ensure he remains with the club for the long-term future.
Januzaj's most recent remarks will have eased any concerns coming from supporters of the Premier League champions though, as the prodigal winger has insisted that despite the rumours, he remains very happy with his current situation.
"I’m really enjoying myself," said Januzaj.
"I played quite a few games in the reserves last season and thought I did well.
"From there, I had the chance to go on the summer tour and it was a good opportunity for me to show what I can do for the team. It was a great experience and ever since I’ve been working hard.
"When you realise everyone is behind you at Old Trafford, it gives you the belief to play with the qualities I have.
"It really helped having that support behind me because you get a feeling that everyone wants you to do well.
"I want to play in as many games as I can and become the best payer I can possibly be. I know that I need to keep working hard every day to achieve that. I have to be ready, ready to take my chance.
"I’m confident in my ability and believe I can help the team."
